Hello and welcome all our Brisbane Bayside Pickleball Club players. I hope you enjoy reading our March 2025 edition of our club newsletter.
Wow, what a beginning to the month was March!!!
I am not sure what we did to annoy the “weather deities”, but with Cyclone Alfred hitting the coast early March and all the wet weather before and after, saw many of our outdoor venue sessions cancelled. Once the weather eased, it was great to see all you “Pickleball Addicts” come out in force and get back on the courts.
Many tournaments took place throughout March which saw quite a number of our members participate and put their skills up against the ever increasing pickleball player base. With so many players now registering to playing these tournaments, you definitely need to be playing at the top of your game to progress through to the medal rounds. As usual, every one of our members that participated gave it their best and did us all proud. Check out the last pages of this newsletter for a list of upcoming tournaments if you are interested in having a go.
